Frequent Questions About My Nude Photography Sessions

Here are several frequently asked questions about my art nude boudoir photography. If you have any questions not answered here, please feel free to email or call me. I'd love to chat with you and answer your questions.

My standard boudoir photography pricing applies for fine art nude photography.
It’s never too early to schedule your nude photography session. Sometimes I can accommodate last minute bookings, but I recommend a 3-4 week notice. If you would like a weekend appointment, it is essential to book early as Saturdays and Sundays fill up very fast.
Yes it does. My nude photography sessions are usually shot with natural light, and the mood and feeling of the photos can change drastically depending on the light. We will chat about what time will best suit the look and feel you want from your nude photo session.
Not at all. Depending on the style of nude session we are shooting wearing bottoms is 100% fine. I do however recommend if you do choose to wear bottoms that you wear nude coloured bottoms.
You are in good hands and I want to make sure that you will have the best selection of artistic nude images. Even if this is your first professional photography experience, my goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, relaxed, beautiful and empowered, and confident. During your personalised nude photo shoot, I will guide you through elegant and classy poses that focus on the angles that bring out your most beautiful sexy self.
Sure. You can pick your favourite lighting/studio setup and poses from my portfolio and you are also welcome to bring your own ideas as well.
My photography studio is based out of my home in Bellbowrie, Brisbane.
It's totally natural to feel nervous before appearing in nude photography. My studio is a very low stress and relaxing space, and I promise within a few minutes, those nerves will fade away. My nude photography is about making you feel empowered!
When you first arrive at my studio, you will meet my makeup artist, and I'll give you a quick tour of my studio. Once we are ready to start, I show you the powder room where you can change into a robe. Then we will start doing your makeup and hair. This time before the session will give you the time to get comfortable. Once your makeup is finished, we'll walk into the shooting space, and when you feel ready to disrobe, we'll start the photography session.
As my previous clients can attest, it's really quite a relaxed and comfortable experience.
No, Your nude photos will always be kept 100% private.
Yes, you can book a photoshoot with me and you can also use the photos and videos for your OnlyFans account.

Getting Ready for Your Session

Here a few helpful tips and guidelines to help you get the most from your nude photographs.

Grooming:

You may want to pay attention to body and pubic hair. If you're going want to keep hair to the minimal in your nude photographs, a good rule of thumb is to do your regular grooming routine. If you're going to be waxing, it's best to do this a few days before your nude photo session so to give your skin time to heal.

What To Wear Before Your Nude Photography Session:

It's critical that you wear loose-fitting clothing the day of your nude photoshoot. This is so to keep unnatural looking indentations and redness caused by clothing being too tight and close to your skin. Which can take hours to completely fade away. I also recommend against wearing any underwear or jewellery the day of your nude photo session.

The clothing I recommend are loose-fitting dresses, track pants with a baggy shirt. For footwear, you can't go wrong with tongs, sneakers or slippers. No heels or anything super strappy.

Makeup & Hair:

It's typically not required and shouldn't be a consideration when getting ready. I will provide that for you as a part of the photoshoot. If you are only wanting nude bodyscape photos makeup and hair will not be required, tho it's best if you arrive at the studio with clean hair and light coverage makeup.

Skin Care and Nails:

Before your nude photography session, it's best you use a moisturiser daily for a few days before and immediately before your session. A good rule of thumb is to pay attention to your elbows and knees and any areas that don't usually get much attention or feel dry.

Having a manicure and pedicure a few days before the session is highly recommended as your hands and feet may be featured in the photography. Try to also get a good night's sleep before your nude photo session. Also, drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol.
